Mulled Wine Gelee (Jello) With Apple Pie Ice Cream
1 recipe apple pie ice cream
32 ounces of Mulled Wine
2 level tablespoons of gelatin

Follow the directions in how to make the apple pie ice cream, or use a store bought favorite. Then, follow the directions on how to make the mulled wine and allow it to steep for the required amount of time. Because you have to allow the spices and the wine to steep off the heat, you may have to slightly reheat the wine before adding the gelatin. make sure to remove your sachet of spices and any other fruits or nuts you may have added. Warm the wine gently and then sprinkle over the gelatin, one tablespoon at a time until it dissolves. This step is important so that the gelatin does not clump together. If you make a mistake, make sure to pass the mixture through a sieve before allowing it to set up to remove any small bits that may not have melted.  Pour this into a shallow glass dish and refrigerate.

Once chilled, use a knife and cut the jello into small squares, and use a small spatula (and not spoon) to remove them from the bottom of the dish. Serve topped with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Really delicious.
