Your website is frustrating. For instance, you give a recipe for the Best Damn Coffee Cake and give the recipe for the streusels. But, you say to use the hot milk cake recipe and you don’t give that recipe right there. I had to do a search for it. And, you said to use the milk sugar glaze recipe, and again you don’t give the recipe for it. I clicked on the page for the hot cross buns with milk sugar glaze and all that was there was a picture. What good is that without the recipe? While the site is colorful and interesting looking, it is not very fun to visit or very functional. Sorry. But, that is just my opinion and experience.

I’m sorry for your frustration Donna, but unfortunately the blogging world is not a perfect science. We are always having to deal with shortfalls with a wordpress site, and one of these shortfalls is in the ‘search’ process for recipes. For example you said you looked up the recipe for hot cross buns, and it will give you a few different results. The picture that has the date, is the link to the article with the recipe, the one without the date only goes to a ‘file’ of pictures that is used in that post…unfortunately that is a wordpress issue that is hard to get around. Your other comment about linking pages together is something all bloggers do for several reasons. First of all, the WEB hates repetitive information, and actually considers you a SPAM site if you continually use the same info over and over. One thing bloggers do is link their pages. It may require an extra step on your part, but in the same vein, you may be linked to another recipe that you find interesting. While I hope to see you back here, I do understand the frustration…trust me, I work with computer stuff every day and it’s a wonder I have any hair left.
